If confirmed, TikTok could face fines up to 6% of its global annual revenue. The Commission highlights that minors can set their accounts to public, exposing them to unwanted contacts and cyberbullying. It recommends that TikTok change default settings to limit visibility of minors' content and not to recommend their posts through the 'For You' feed. TikTok will have the opportunity to respond to these findings before a final decision is made.
