Starting October 2026, the monthly value of childcare vouchers in Romania will increase to 770 lei, while cultural vouchers will be set at 260 lei per month or 510 lei per event. These changes, established by official orders, will remain in effect through March 2027. Childcare vouchers are available to employees not on parental leave, and can only be used for nursery fees. Cultural vouchers can be used for cultural goods and services. Both types of vouchers are regulated under Law 165/2018, and the new amounts reflect a slight increase from previous values.
