Tezaur descoperit în Prahova: Zeci de monede romane din argint și cinci brățări dacice / Obiecte găsite de către un grup de ”detectoriști” / Primar: ”Prin ceea ce au găsit fac cunoscută comuna Apostolache”

An important archaeological discovery was made in Prahova County, where a group of treasure hunters uncovered a hidden treasure nearly two millennia old. The find includes dozens of Roman silver coins and five Dacian bracelets. The treasure was identified by Ioji Ștefan Cătălin, known as the 'Treasure Hunter' on social media. The collection consists of 37 Roman denarii, including ten republican and 27 imperial coins, along with five Dacian bracelets. The significance of these artifacts will be assessed by experts, but they are already deemed historically and archaeologically valuable. The treasure was legally handed over to the local authorities and will be transferred to the County Directorate for Culture for further evaluation and classification into the national cultural heritage.
