Romania will participate in the PIAAC assessment for the first time in 2028, measuring adult competencies. This test, often referred to as 'PISA for adults', evaluates literacy, numeracy, and problem-solving skills in real-life contexts. Participants will complete exercises on digital devices, assessing their ability to understand texts, use mathematics, and adapt solutions to changing information. The results will compare Romanian adults' competencies with those from other countries. A questionnaire will accompany the test, gathering information on education and professional experience.
