The Rovinari power plant is preparing to operate all three functional units, facing a shortage of specialized personnel. To address this, three retired employees have been re-hired for 30 days. The Ministry of Energy has ordered the resumption of production in all units due to a shutdown at Cernavodă. The re-hired workers are essential operators for the energy blocks, known as 'tablotari'. Their expertise is crucial for the plant's operation, which has been running with only two units. The company is also sourcing additional coal from new areas to ensure sufficient fuel supply for the three units.
