The construction of the Sibiu-Pitești Highway is facing delays due to missing environmental agreements necessary for building permits. Work is currently limited to sections with proper documentation, covering only 45% of the total length. Initial completion deadlines may be pushed back from December 2028. However, the fourth lot is set to open ahead of schedule this fall.
