Romania is experiencing a significant weather shift from unusually high October temperatures to a period of rain, strong winds, and a notable drop in temperatures. After reaching highs of 28-29 degrees Celsius, temperatures are expected to decrease sharply, starting with the western and northwestern regions. Rainfall will cover the entire country, with thunderstorms possible in some areas. Wind gusts may reach 45-50 km/h in eastern regions and up to 90 km/h in the mountains. In Bucharest, temperatures will drop from 28-29 degrees to 15-16 degrees, with continuous rain expected. The weather will worsen in the mountains, particularly in the Southern Carpathians, with mixed precipitation forecasted.
