The project, costing nearly 100 million lei, includes structural reinforcement, restoration of architectural elements, and energy-efficient upgrades. Construction is set to last 36 months after obtaining necessary permits. Originally built in 1929, the theatre has a rich history, evolving from the Palace of the Cultural League to a prestigious cultural institution under notable directors like Lucia Sturdza Bulandra and Liviu Ciulei.
