Taxă nouă pentru dezvoltările imobiliare. Banii ar putea merge către infrastructura noilor cartiere

A new local tax for urban development will help fund necessary infrastructure in newly developed areas. The tax, part of the new Urban Planning Code, allows local authorities to charge developers based on the benefits derived from urban planning changes. This aims to ensure that infrastructure keeps pace with residential growth, addressing issues of inadequate public services in expanding neighborhoods. The law, effective from August 25, 2026, does not set a fixed national rate, allowing for local customization. Funds collected will be allocated to public infrastructure projects such as roads, schools, and utilities.
