TAROM inaugurează prima aeronavă Boeing 737 MAX 8 din flotă
TAROM has introduced its first Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft, named after the legendary coach Mircea Lucescu, which will operate flights to Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Cluj. The aircraft, featuring 189 seats, was inaugurated at Henri Coandă International Airport. It is equipped with advanced CFM LEAP-1B engines, offering reduced fuel consumption and lower emissions. The choice of the name reflects the airline's new phase, combining tradition with modern technology. TAROM plans to renew its fleet with four new Boeing 737s, having sold four older planes. A second MAX 8 is expected soon, named after Ivan Patzaichin.
