Țările UE s-au înțeles în privința unei super-autorități: „Este proiectul generației noastre”
The EU has reached an agreement to establish a European super-authority for financial market oversight, aimed at strengthening the economy. Finance ministers approved a compromise in Luxembourg, enhancing ESMA's resources to oversee major market players. The deal excludes Deutsche Börse from ESMA's jurisdiction, addressing concerns from Germany. While supported by major economies, some countries like Ireland and Luxembourg expressed fears of losing out. The reform is seen as crucial for creating a unified economic and investment union in Europe, mobilizing significant savings for businesses. However, final negotiations with the European Parliament are still needed before implementation.
