Țările de Jos vor interzice importurile de produse provenite din așezările israeliene ilegale

The Dutch government will implement a ban on the import and sale of products from illegal Israeli settlements starting September 22. This measure prohibits not only imports but also the direct sale of these products and any attempts to circumvent the restrictions. Dutch companies operating abroad must also comply. The Council of State expressed concerns about the effective enforcement of the ban. The Netherlands has advocated for a similar EU-wide ban, but it has not gained sufficient support. Other countries like Belgium, Spain, and Ireland have already enacted similar national measures. The Dutch government cites ongoing violations of international law by Israel as the reason for this action.
