Țările Baltice își „betonează” apărarea anti-drone până în septembrie. Ce sisteme are România? • Newsweek România
The Baltic states are enhancing their drone defense systems along the Russian border, while Romania's progress in this area remains limited. Latvia plans to implement automated anti-drone systems by September 2026, focusing on remote monitoring with minimal military personnel. Estonia has also begun deploying detection and neutralization devices for drones, although their capabilities are still developing. Romania, in contrast, relies on the Merops anti-drone system from the U.S. and is in the process of acquiring SHORAD systems, but these will take years to be operational. Until then, Romania continues to use existing military assets for air defense.
