Țara unde părinții primesc 3.000 de euro pentru fiecare copil venit pe lume

Nisyros, a Greek island, is offering financial support of up to €3,000 for each child born to encourage families to settle there. This initiative aims to address demographic challenges faced by small communities. Proposed by Mayor Christofis Koronaios, the measure received unanimous approval from the local council. The one-time payment is intended to assist with the costs associated with childbirth, but eligibility requires parents to be permanent residents of Nisyros. The €3,000 is non-taxable and does not affect other social benefits. The municipality has allocated €9,000 in its 2026 budget to support this program, potentially aiding three eligible births.
