Currently, the trade balance is heavily skewed, with Romania importing significantly more than it exports. Officials and business leaders gathered in Bucharest to discuss potential partnerships and investments. The goal is to shift from merely importing Chinese goods to encouraging Chinese companies to establish production in Romania, creating jobs and facilitating exports to Europe. The trade deficit with China reached approximately 8.4 billion euros last year, highlighting the need for stronger economic ties and collaboration in education between the two countries.
