Țara NATO care vrea să-și înlocuiască flota învechită de avioane de vânătoare ia în calcul, „cu seriozitate”, un anumit model. Dar lasă o portiță deschisă

Portugal is considering replacing its aging F-16 fighter jets, with serious consideration given to the US F-35 offer, among other options. The decision will be based on national interests, as stated by Foreign Minister Paulo Rangel after meeting with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. Although no official tender has been launched yet, competition is intense for a deal that would strengthen defense ties with European or American partners. The F-35, produced by Lockheed Martin, is seen as a leading contender, facing competition from the Eurofighter Typhoon, Rafale, and Gripen E models.
