Țara de lângă România care a dat lovitura în turism: numărul turiștilor a crescut cu 25%
Moldova has emerged as a surprising tourism destination in Europe, with a 25% increase in international tourist arrivals in the first half of 2026, the highest growth on the continent. This surge significantly outpaces the European average, which saw a 3% rise overall. While Greece and Ireland also experienced notable increases of 15%, other regions like Central and Eastern Europe grew by only 4%. In contrast, Western Europe faced a decline of 1% due to various factors, including heatwaves. Globally, international tourism grew by just 0.4% in the same period, with a modest forecast for the rest of the year.
