August alone saw over 12 million arrivals, marking a 5.2% increase compared to the previous year. Most international travelers came from Europe, particularly the UK, which accounted for 23.7% of arrivals. Other notable markets included Germany, Italy, and France, with varying growth rates. Major Spanish airports like Madrid-Barajas and Barcelona saw significant passenger increases, while Valencia experienced the highest percentage growth. Overall, Spain's tourism sector continues to thrive, attracting visitors from various regions.
