The European Commission has approved Romania's Action Plan to unblock sheep and goat exports, as announced by interim Agriculture Minister Tanczos Barna. This approval is a crucial step towards resuming international trade in this sector. During discussions with European officials, Romania presented measures taken to combat diseases affecting small ruminants. The minister emphasized the importance of adapting European rules to allow the export of vaccinated animals. Diplomatic efforts will continue to secure further decisions necessary for resuming exports. The Action Plan was approved without changes by representatives of the 27 member states.
