Tánczos Barna, despre vaccinarea oilor: Să nu ne trezim că oprim boala, dar blocăm exporturile pentru doi ani • Newsweek România

Romania's interim Agriculture Minister, Tánczos Barna, emphasized the need for urgent changes in EU legislation regarding animal vaccination to prevent export restrictions. He acknowledged farmers' concerns about current regulations hindering live animal exports and the potential for new bans due to vaccination. Tánczos highlighted the contradiction between existing laws and the EU's strategy for the livestock sector, advocating for a swift legislative update. He also addressed compensation for farmers who lost animals, stating that the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority manages this process. Tánczos assured that well-documented farmers should receive prompt compensation, while also proposing measures to streamline the compensation process for livestock breeders.
