A 28-year-old man from Dolj was arrested for brutally beating his girlfriend and holding her captive for five days. The victim, who has mental health issues, wanted to return to her family in Prahova but was prevented from doing so. She sustained injuries requiring over 30 days of medical care. The man is being investigated for domestic violence and illegal deprivation of liberty. He was initially detained for 24 hours and later placed in preventive arrest for 30 days.
