Tabloul „Iris” de Monet a fost scos la licitație la Paris. Prețul estimat ajunge la 30 de mil. de euro și ar putea stabili un record
Sotheby's Paris will auction Claude Monet's painting "Iris" with an estimated price of 22-30 million euros, a record for France. The auction on October 22 will feature 27 rare artworks, including pieces by renowned artists like Cézanne and Moreau. "Iris," painted between 1924-1925, is the only large-scale work from Monet's later years not in a museum. It has never been publicly displayed and was known only through a black-and-white photograph. The auction coincides with the centenary of Monet's death, with additional works like "Saule pleureur" also available. The event highlights significant pieces from various artists, including sculptures by Camille Claudel.
