The Ministry of National Defense announces the opening of the 13th edition of the Invictus Veterans Relay on Thursday. The event includes military personnel, injured veterans, students, and volunteers, welcoming public participation. The official start is at the Monument of the Heroes of the Fatherland in Bucharest, with a ceremony at 08:30. Participants will run three relay routes symbolizing the national flag colors, culminating at the Elisabeta Palace, where they will be received by royal family members. The relay will cover thousands of kilometers, stopping at memorials for commemorative ceremonies. The event, initiated in 2014, encourages community involvement and honors the sacrifices of heroes. It concludes on October 25, Army Day, in Carei, a site significant for Romania's liberation in 1944.
