Two major former industrial sites in Cluj-Napoca, Tehnofrig and CUG, are set for urban redevelopment with mixed-use projects. The Tehnofrig site, acquired for €35 million, will host the ERA project, featuring residential, office, and retail spaces, with an investment exceeding €300 million. The CUG site, purchased for over €20 million, will also be developed for mixed-use purposes. These projects represent significant urban regeneration efforts outside Bucharest. Additionally, the Rivus project is underway, with a value exceeding €500 million, further contributing to the trend of industrial site reconversion in Cluj. TBI bank is also expanding its partnership with Hexagon for the Someșului 15 residential project, increasing funding to €15 million.
