The Romanian Pension House warns that many beneficiaries risk losing their pensions if they do not submit required documents by September. This applies to children receiving survivor pensions who are in school or university, as well as pensioners living abroad. Students over 16 must provide proof of enrollment within 10 days of the school year start, while those studying at universities must do so within the same timeframe. Failure to submit these documents will result in the suspension of survivor pension payments starting November 1. Additionally, pensioners residing outside Romania must submit a life certificate by the end of the month to avoid pension suspension.
