Sute de mii de morți, un orfan supraviețuitor. „Noul Vinícius” scrie istorie la naționala Argentinei
A 17-year-old Haitian earthquake survivor, Stephen "Kiki" Ramos, has become the first player from Haiti to join Argentina's national football team. Born in Port-au-Prince, he was adopted by an Argentine couple after the devastating 2010 earthquake. Growing up in Buenos Aires, he developed his football skills at Vélez Sarsfield academy. Despite injuries slowing his progress, he scored 12 goals in youth competitions. Recently, he debuted for Argentina's Under-17 team, making history as the first Haitian-born player to represent the country. Ramos expressed gratitude to his adoptive parents and aims for a spot in the Under-17 World Cup in Qatar.
