Starting November 1, 2026, many businesses may face penalties due to unclear technical requirements for QR codes on fiscal receipts. The Chamber of Fiscal Consultants (CCF) warns that distributors of electronic cash registers lack knowledge about the necessary specifications. They have urged the Ministry of Finance to address this issue urgently to prevent sanctions against businesses. Currently, no cash register on the market can issue receipts with QR codes as the technical reference has not been established. CCF recommends a review of the legislative process to ensure compliance and suggests a transitional measure to extend deadlines, alleviating the risk of penalties for businesses.
