Susținătorii lui Călin Georgescu, chemați de AUR la protest la Bruxelles, în fața Parlamentului European
Approximately 70 people protested in front of the European Parliament in Brussels against the preventive arrest of Călin Georgescu. Supporters gathered at the invitation of George Simion, who expressed solidarity with Georgescu. The protest was triggered by a court's decision to detain Georgescu for 30 days, although another judge later ordered his release from custody. In Bucharest, nearly 200 people protested outside the Central Arrest for the 15th consecutive night, chanting messages of support for Georgescu. He is accused of forming an organized criminal group and fraud, with a case initiated by a businessman claiming a significant financial loss. The court's decision to place him under house arrest is not final, as the prosecution has appealed.
