A 30-year-old man, suspected of murdering a 28-year-old woman found near the Olt River, surrendered to Swiss authorities. Gheorghe Vlăduț Bălțățeanu turned himself in at the police station in Saint Gallen on September 28. Romanian authorities were notified of his surrender following an international arrest warrant. The victim's body was discovered on September 22, and it is believed to have been transported in a suitcase.
