SURSE: Parlamentul convocat în sesiune extraordinară săptămâna viitoare

The Senate is set to convene in an extraordinary session from July 27-31 to adopt two legislative projects related to Romania's National Recovery and Resilience Plan. A similar decision is expected from the Chamber of Deputies. The Senate's permanent bureau will meet on July 22 to send the projects for necessary approvals. The first project introduces a 'bonus-malus' mechanism for tax and customs administration staff based on performance indicators. The second project amends the administrative code regarding public servant careers and promotion criteria. These legislative initiatives are crucial for Romania to finalize pending reforms before the final payment request from the Recovery Plan.
