The Ministry of Energy is holding an online technical meeting with fuel market operators due to the blockage of Kazakh oil exports through the CPC. The meeting will be led by state secretaries and will address the impact of recent drone attacks on oil tankers. Romania heavily relies on Kazakh oil, with 63% of its imports coming from there. Experts suggest a 50% chance that oil flows will resume in one to two weeks, but there is also a significant risk of prolonged disruptions. If the blockage lasts over 30 days, Romania may face fuel market tensions, leading to potential refinery adjustments and increased diesel prices.
