DIICOT has conducted raids in over ten locations in Romania, targeting companies suspected of violating embargo laws related to Belarus and Russia. The investigation reveals that Romanian firms allegedly supplied dual-use industrial equipment through front companies in Germany and Kazakhstan, knowing the final recipients were sanctioned entities. This equipment, including heavy industrial lathes, could enable Belarusian factories to produce military vehicle components, such as tanks and missiles.
