Surpriză în Orientul Mijlociu! Siria și Hezbollah s-ar fi întâlnit în secret în Turcia pentru a calma tensiunile

Syrian government representatives and Hezbollah reportedly held secret talks in Turkey to ease tensions between them. This marked the first known meeting since their alliance turned adversarial after Bashar al-Assad's regime was challenged. The discussions, initiated by Turkish intelligence, focused on security issues causing friction. Both sides expressed a desire to avoid hostility, with Syria assuring Hezbollah it would not intervene militarily in Lebanon. However, Syria requested Hezbollah's help in curbing smuggling and dismantling its cells in Syria. Despite positive progress, no final agreement was reached. The absence of Iran, Hezbollah's main supporter, from the talks was notable, as it reportedly disapproved of not being directly involved.
