The USR deputy absent from the vote for Siegfried Mureșan's government was Allen Coliban. Mureșan's cabinet failed to secure enough votes, receiving only 182 in favor out of 321 present. The government needed at least 233 votes to be invested. Comparatively, the previous government led by Adrian Veștea received 189 votes. Future consultations at the Cotroceni Palace are expected, with Nicușor Dan aiming for a compromise between PNL and PSD for a new independent prime minister. Alexandru Nazare is no longer considered for the position, leaving Sorin Grindeanu and Eugen Tomac as potential candidates.
