A 100-year-old barn has been transformed into a Scandinavian-style hotel called Wooden Barn, located in Zăbala, an hour's drive from Brașov. The project aims to attract families with children and integrates the original structure with a simplified interior design. The total investment was around €100,000, with €70,000 coming from non-repayable funding. Local craftsmen were involved in the renovation, and the furniture was sourced and restored from the area. Zăbala offers various attractions, including a castle hotel and a medieval fortified church, making it a unique destination for tourists.
