Supermarketurile din România reduc consumul de energie
Supermarkets in Romania are voluntarily limiting air conditioning and stopping night advertising lighting to save energy, following a call from the interim Prime Minister. The Association of Large Commercial Networks in Romania (AMRCR) has implemented measures to reduce energy consumption, including using LED lighting and temperature sensors. These actions aim to alleviate pressure on the national energy system while ensuring consumer safety and comfort. The interim Prime Minister announced that the government will adopt a decision to enforce a legal mechanism if voluntary reductions are insufficient during peak hours. Major companies may receive notifications about temporary consumption limits based on the national energy system's capabilities.
