Sună alarma pe Dunăre. Situația hidrologică a ajuns la un nivel “sever”, potrivit Apele Române. Doar 3 centimetri despart centrala de la Cernavoda de un prag critic
Due to critical water levels in the Danube near Cernavodă, Romanian authorities are temporarily increasing water discharge from Lake Iezer to ensure safe operation of the nuclear power plant. This measure, approved by the National Emergency Committee, aims to address severe hydrological conditions. The discharge will be controlled, leaving over 40 million cubic meters of water in the lake. The Danube's flow is currently below 1,200 m³/s, with levels at Cernavodă dangerously close to operational limits. Additional water will also be released from other lakes to raise the Danube's level by approximately 2 centimeters.
