Subvenții directe pentru crescătorii de porci din România afectați de scumpiri la combustibil și îngrășăminte / Comisia Europeană aprobă o schemă în valoare de 11 milioane de euro

The European Commission has approved a Romanian state aid scheme worth €11 million for pig farmers impacted by rising fuel and fertilizer prices due to the Middle East crisis. This aid, under the Temporary Framework for State Aid in the context of the crisis, aims to alleviate the financial burden on farmers from March 1 to December 31, 2026. Direct subsidies will be provided based on increased production costs, capped at €50,000 per enterprise. The Commission confirmed that the scheme complies with EU state aid rules and is necessary to support the pig farming sector without negatively affecting trade conditions.
