Subvenții de 66 mil. euro pentru fermierii de porci și vite

President Nicușor Dan has approved state aid schemes for pig and cattle breeders to mitigate the crisis effects from the Middle East situation. The total support package exceeds 66 million euros, with a maximum subsidy of 50,000 euros per beneficiary. Financial aid for pig breeders will be funded through the Ministry of Agriculture's budget for 2026, totaling 11.54 million euros. Eligibility requires farms to be sanitary-veterinary authorized and registered with APIA. The majority of the support is directed towards cattle and buffalo breeders, with a budget of 54.4 million euros. Applicants must have at least 10 registered cattle or buffalo by March 1, 2026.
