A police report contradicted Sánchez, suggesting the event was planned and involved Moroccan security forces. Despite the return of most migrants to Morocco, around 5,000 remain in Ceuta, including many children. Opposition leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo criticized Sánchez, questioning his competence and calling for early elections. Sánchez emphasized the need for cooperation with Morocco and condemned misinformation as a trigger for the crisis.
