SUA suspendă programările pentru vizele de imigrant
The U.S. government has temporarily suspended immigration visa processing at all embassies and consulates due to stricter financial checks for applicants. Interviews have been canceled without rescheduling information. This initiative is part of a broader effort to limit both legal and illegal immigration under the Trump administration, which has also announced plans to revoke visas for asylum seekers who initially entered as tourists or for business. This could affect up to 200,000 individuals and may become the largest mass visa withdrawal in U.S. history. The State Department is collaborating with the Department of Homeland Security to identify and revoke non-immigrant visas of those who apply for asylum after entering the country as short-term visitors.
