SUA și Arabia Saudită: Parteneriat nuclear major

The US and Saudi Arabia have signed a nuclear cooperation agreement allowing Saudi Arabia to build reactors and enrich uranium using American technology. This '123 Agreement' establishes a legal framework for civil nuclear cooperation and includes a bilateral security guarantee. The deal aims to enhance US nuclear technology exports, create jobs, and strengthen strategic ties. Unlike previous agreements, this one does not include the Additional Protocol for inspections, raising concerns about nuclear proliferation. The agreement will be sent to the US Congress for review amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
