SUA ridică sancțiunile pentru companii din Belarus în schimbul eliberării a 25 de prizonieri

John Coale, the U.S. special envoy for Belarus, announced the release of 25 political prisoners in exchange for lifting sanctions on two Belarusian companies. Coale expressed gratitude to President Lukashenko and emphasized ongoing efforts to improve U.S.-Belarus relations. Among those released were notable figures such as Dmitri Novojilov and Irina Zlobina. The agreement followed discussions in Minsk, where Coale met with Belarusian officials, including Prime Minister Alexander Turchin. The U.S. will lift sanctions on Lakokraska and Bellesbumprom as part of this deal, aimed at facilitating further prisoner releases.
