SUA intenționează să lanseze „mama tuturor bombelor” asupra Iranului. Face dezastru cu 9,5 tone de exploziv • Newsweek România

The U.S. military is reportedly considering using the GBU-43/B bomb, known as the "Mother of All Bombs," against Iran's nuclear facilities. This bomb, weighing 9.5 tons, is the most powerful non-nuclear weapon in the U.S. arsenal. Plans include targeting significant parts of Iran's energy infrastructure and a nuclear site near Natanz. However, the bomb's effectiveness against deeply buried targets is uncertain, as it is not designed for deep penetration. The potential use of such a weapon may also serve a psychological purpose, aiming to intimidate the Iranian regime, which has reportedly fortified its nuclear sites in anticipation of possible attacks.
