SUA au livrat României primele 9 vehicule amfibii de asalt

The U.S. delivered the first nine amphibious assault vehicles (AAVs) to Romania, enhancing NATO's security along the Black Sea coast. This marks a significant step in U.S.-Romania defense cooperation. The AAVs, designed for challenging terrains, will undergo specialized training for operational readiness. U.S. Ambassador Darryl Nirenberg emphasized the importance of trust and capabilities in deterrence. The AAV7A1 can transport up to 21 Marines and is built for durability and mobility in combat scenarios.
