SUA aprobă un pachet de 2,68 mld. de dolari pentru apărarea Ucrainei

The U.S. State Department has approved a potential military sale to Ukraine worth approximately $2.68 billion to enhance its air defense systems. The package includes missiles, launchers, and drone detection radars, along with maintenance services. Funding will come from European contributions and previously approved U.S. military financing. This deal aims to modernize Ukraine's defense capabilities against Russian attacks, especially as winter approaches. The announcement follows a separate EU approval of €6.1 billion for Ukraine's defense, which includes the purchase of U.S.-made Patriot interceptors.
