SUA anunță vânzarea de armament de 5 miliarde de dolari către Arabia Saudită

The U.S. has approved a $5 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia, aimed at enhancing its air defense capabilities against regional threats. This deal includes bombs, guidance kits, and other equipment. The State Department stated that the sale will improve Saudi territorial defense and interoperability with U.S. forces. It also aligns with U.S. foreign policy goals by strengthening a key ally outside NATO. Saudi Arabia has faced drone and missile attacks from Iranian forces and Houthi rebels since the U.S. and Israel initiated military actions against Iran.
