Studiu: Utilizatorii trotinetelor electrice au un risc de trei ori mai mare de traumatisme craniene decât motocicliștii
Electric scooters pose a higher risk of severe injuries compared to motorcycles and bicycles, according to a study analyzing over 15,000 accidents in England and Wales. Users face more than three times the likelihood of sustaining traumatic brain injuries. The study highlights the need for better safety regulations and training for scooter users, as many do not wear helmets and often ride on sidewalks. In Romania, emergency cases related to electric scooters have significantly increased, particularly among young individuals. The findings emphasize the importance of addressing the unique risks associated with electric scooters.
