Studiu: Un anumit tip de somn este asociat cu un risc mai scăzut pentru 83 de boli. Ce au descoperit cercetătorii

A recent study indicates that sleep type can affect the risk of developing over 80 diseases. Researchers found that longer REM sleep is linked to a lower risk of 83 conditions, while deeper sleep correlates with a reduced risk of seven diseases. The study highlights the importance of quality sleep for physical and mental health, suggesting that insufficient REM and deep sleep increases the likelihood of various health issues, including cardiometabolic and neurodegenerative diseases. The findings were based on data from over 95,000 participants tracked for nearly nine years, emphasizing the need for adequate sleep duration and quality.
