A recent study reveals that Meta's applications collect an average of 25 out of 35 possible data types, surpassing other tech giants. The analysis included 171 apps from major companies, highlighting Meta's extensive data collection practices. Facebook, Messenger, and other Meta-owned apps were among the most intrusive, while Google, Amazon, and Microsoft collected significantly fewer data types. Despite collecting fewer types, Google's data collection still raises user privacy concerns.
